Go Back to Remembrances

“Frankly, my Dear”. I remember that coming over the door speaker when Pam would come to the shop in the basement with all the AV offices.

I had the wonderful fortune to work with Frank from 1989 through 1996 at Poly. As a co-worker and a patient mentor, Frank made life a lot of fun and provided me a great deal of professional (electrical and inter-relationship) guidance. Frank’s character has been a real inspiration in getting along with others and making life fun.

Moving away from San Luis Obispo in 1996, I had the opportunity to encounter Frank on a tool show on television. Crazy thing was, I recognized his ladders before I even saw him come on the screen!

My last visit with Frank was about 3 years ago at a train event in Santa Margarita. He shared train safety info with my (then 1-year-old) son and me, and brought a big smile to my son’s face with his joviality.

I am grateful for having Frank as part of my life. Whether he knew it or not, he is the one that taught this Latino man how to say Garlic in Spanish… AJO!
