Go Back to Remembrances

I didn’t really know Frank very well either. He was the guy who took over either Mike Henry’s or Gerry Franke’s job to deal with that horrible alarm system–I don’t remember, but both former Cal Poly employees moved to Oregon to get away from it. (Oregon must have banned that system!) I wondered if it would it drive Frank to do the same.

What I will always remember; Frank’s easy-going attitude and great smile that reflected it. The last time I saw Frank was two or three years ago at Home Depot. He was checking out storage sheds that were on sale. (I’m sure he was looking for one large enough to store all the junk he’s collected over the years–typical tech-nut!). Well to make a short story long, we stood there and chatted about Cal Poly and some of our mutual friends for at least 15 or 20 minutes. Eventually, we both realized we had to get back to business.

So long Frank. I’m looking forward to running into you again somewhere.
